"Varies" means the guide runs on rolling or per-country dates that are not captured as one deadline. "Expected (not yet announced)" means the guide has not published dates for its next edition; the calendar gives the typical timing. "Unverified" means we could not confirm the item on the official page; check the source before relying on it. We never guess a deadline.
Euromoney Expert Guides
Euromoney Expert Guides appears to be discontinued: on 2026-10-23, expertguides.com redirected (301) to legalbenchmarkinggroup.com. We list it so you know not to plan around it.
Chambers vs Legal 500 at a glance
The two largest guides ask for similar material in different formats. Both are free to submit, both take about 20 matters per practice area, and both want a referee spreadsheet. Chambers says it receives about 62,000 submissions a year (methodology); researchers read closely, so specific, provable facts matter more than polish.
